As far back as 1400, traditional Scottish food remained simple in its preparation and presentation through the ages and in the 16th century a touch of Gallic chic came with the French cooks at Mary Queen of Scots’ court introducing new methods of food preparation including the introduction of rich sauces. Here at The Dalziel Park Hotel we have tried to create a menu that marries our Scottish heritage, the finest local produce with a subtle Gallic influence as well as some Dalziel Park Hotel classics that everyone loves.

Choose something succulent for the grill. All our Scotch beef cuts are dry aged for 28 days and are reared on the lush green grass of the Highlands. They are served with chunky chips, onion rings, grilled tomato and flat cap mushroom with your choice of sauce.
